Awake and Sing: Popular Yiddish Songs

The class is conducted in English and intended for participants with varying levels of Yiddish knowledge. The texts/lyrics of about 40 popular songs will be explored. Texts in Yiddish and in transliteration (with full English translation) will be provided.
